Traceability to enhance product position and brand

Implementing Decision 100 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on Deployment, Application and Management of the Traceability System (TSS), the Department of Science and Technology (ST) of Tien Giang province has advised the Provincial People's Committee to approve the S&T task "Research on building a TSS management system for key products and goods in Tien Giang province". The goal of the task in the period of 2020 - 2025 is to build a system and manage TSS information for 40 key products and goods in the province and connect with the National TSS Information Portal for products and goods.

Accordingly, by 2025, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to develop the TXNG system into a multi-industry, multi-language system to export goods to many countries around the world . Thereby connecting domestic and foreign supply chains.

In order to improve the effectiveness of state management activities, ensure the quality and safety of products and goods, the Department of Science and Technology of Tien Giang province is coordinating with relevant units to implement the science and technology task "Research and build a management system for TXNG of key products and goods of Tien Giang province".

In the context of the 4th industrial revolution taking place strongly along with the process of international economic integration, the promotion of TXNG is increasingly focused. This is an extremely urgent issue because of the practical benefits that TXNG brings. With the above necessity and significance, the Department of Science and Technology is currently focusing on surveying to select enterprises to deploy the TXNG pilot model.

"TXNG will help businesses fight against counterfeit, fake, and poor quality goods, so it is very meaningful to the production and business activities of the unit" - Mr. Ung added.

Recently, Nam Huong Poultry Farming Company Limited (Cho Gao District) has been promoting the transformation of its model from traditional farming to fully automated. In the long term, the company will try to bring its egg products to higher-end markets such as supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. and further, deep processing, aiming for export.

Mr. Le Van Hoa, owner of Nam Huong Poultry Company Limited, said: “Currently, the company is cooperating with many foreign corporations to implement the project of importing egg processing lines and using their animal feed. Experts from these corporations will come to guide, transfer technology and export. Currently, the company has invested and put into operation an automated chicken farm to evaluate its effectiveness.

It is expected that by the end of this year, the company will invest in completing 10 automated chicken farms with a scale of about 600,000 chickens. With the scale and application of technology like the company's, implementing TXNG is very important. In the future, the company will cooperate with a team of experts to implement TXNG. The company aims to do it for real, not just for show."

According to the Director of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality (TC-ĐL-CL) - Department of Science and Technology Cao Thanh Hung, implementing Decision 100 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on Deployment, Application and Management of the TXNG System, the Ministry of Science and Technology is assigned as the management agency. In localities, the Department of Science and Technology assigns the TC-ĐL-CL to implement. Currently, the TXNG is in the survey phase to select enterprises to implement the pilot.

Nam Huong Poultry Breeding Company Limited invests in livestock farming in the direction of automation associated with TXNG.

“The Science and Technology task will select 20 enterprises to perform, the host unit will support 20 more enterprises. As a management agency, after performing the TXNG task, the Department will carefully check to ensure the accuracy of the information posted on the TXNG Information Portal.

In the S&T mission, the unit hopes that when consumers use the scanner, they will see which facility the product is manufactured by and what its origin is, and that it has been verified by a competent unit. Then, consumers will feel more secure when using the product" - said comrade Cao Thanh Hung.

Mr. Luu Anh Dung, Laco Center for Science, Technology and Quality Measurement Development (LACOTECH) - Head of the TXNG project in Tien Giang province said that LACOTECH is committed to being dedicated in surveying and selecting participating enterprises to create initial data for Tien Giang province in the most professional and complete manner.

In addition, the unit will closely coordinate with departments, branches, and businesses in Tien Giang province to deploy knowledge training sessions and guide the application of TXNG quickly, conveniently, and easily. This helps businesses easily apply technology, understand technology to apply and manage their company's products.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Doan Thanh Tuyet, for enterprises, TXNG supports internal management to optimize operational efficiency; improve productivity and product quality. At the same time, it enhances brand position, builds trust with consumers..., thereby expanding the product consumption market.
