Teaching Binh Tri Thien folk songs in Vinh Linh and Trieu Phong districts and Quang Tri town

Today, February 27, in Vinh Long commune, Vinh Linh district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province in coordination with Vinh Linh district organized the opening ceremony of a class teaching Binh Tri Thien folk songs.

The training class attracted the participation of 20 students who are the core members of the cultural and artistic movement in Vinh Long commune.

During the 7 days, students will be trained, nurtured, and practice performing folk songs of Binh Tri Thien. Especially combining the performance of the art of Bai Choi.

It is known that in March 2024, two more classes will be opened to teach Binh Tri Thien folk songs in Quang Tri town and Trieu Phong district.

By bringing folk song teaching classes to the grassroots level, we contribute to preserving and promoting the value of the traditional art form of Binh Tri Thien folk songs and the art of Bai Choi in Quang Tri province.
