On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the afternoon of June 10, 2025, General Director of Vietnam News Agency Vu Viet Trang respectfully presented General Secretary To Lam with a Vietnamese-English bilingual photo book "100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press (1925-2025)" compiled and published by the News Agency Publishing House.

With more than 1,000 valuable documentary photos and many general articles, the book vividly recreates the development stages of revolutionary journalism associated with each step of the country's transformation.

The materials are carefully selected from central and local press agencies, museums, libraries, archives and reporters and journalists over many generations.

The book truly reflects the glorious journey of revolutionary journalism, and at the same time expresses infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - an outstanding revolutionary journalist, and generations of journalist-soldiers who have steadfastly and devotedly contributed to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

In the General Secretary 's congratulatory message solemnly printed at the beginning of the book, General Secretary To Lam sent warm congratulations to the entire team of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists.

The General Secretary stated that throughout the past century, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has continuously grown, making important contributions to the cause of national liberation, national reunification and socialist construction.

The press always accompanies the Party, the State and the People, is the voice of conscience, is a sharp weapon in the fight against evil, protects the right, arouses and spreads the spirit of solidarity, the desire for development and the will to rise of the nation.

The General Secretary highly appreciated the coordination of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and Vietnam News Agency in compiling and launching this meaningful publication.


The General Secretary wished the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press to grow stronger and always be the vanguard on the Party's ideological and cultural front.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission wrote the foreword for the book.

He expressed his belief that with its glorious tradition and spirit of constant innovation and creativity, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press will continue to write golden pages of history, joining the country in entering a new era of the Vietnamese nation.

On the same morning, the book launching ceremony was held at the National News Center with the presence of comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association./.
