While fishing in Truong Sa waters, Mr. Nhanh had severe abdominal pain and was taken to Truong Sa island for emergency treatment by the crew on June 7. After receiving him, the military medical staff of Truong Sa island infirmary examined him, diagnosed him with acute appendicitis and quickly performed an appendectomy.

After nearly 10 days of treatment on the island, the patient's health has recovered well, the surgical wound is dry, he can walk and eat normally. After completing the treatment, the infirmary handed over fisherman Tran Cong Nhanh and his companion to the captain of fishing boat QNa 94952TS to continue working at sea.
