Accordingly, fisherman Tran Cong Nhanh was a worker on fishing boat QNa 94952TS of Quang Nam province. While fishing in Truong Sa waters, Mr. Nhanh had severe abdominal pain and was taken to Truong Sa island for emergency treatment by crew members on June 7. After receiving him, the military medical staff of Truong Sa island infirmary examined him, diagnosed him with acute appendicitis and quickly performed surgery to remove his appendix.
After nearly 10 days of treatment on the island, the patient's health recovered well, the surgical wound was dry, he could walk and eat normally. After completing the treatment, the infirmary handed over fisherman Tran Cong Nhanh and his companion to the captain of the fishing boat QNa 94952TS to continue working at sea.
