On November 4, the City People's Committee issued Plan No. 225/KH-UBND to organize the Christmas Festival - New Year Festival in Da Nang 2025 (Danang X'mas - New Year Festival 2025).
The Christmas Festival - New Year's Eve Da Nang 2025 is a unique cultural and tourism event at the city level with many attractive programs and activities, contributing to attracting and serving people, domestic and international tourists to Da Nang on the occasion of welcoming the New Year 2025. Accordingly:
From December 14, 2024 - January 2, 2025, organize the Christmas - New Year 2025 check-in space with 3 check-in models with the theme "Christmas - New Year" including: Christmas tree model: Located on the Northern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge (Opposite VTV8); Christmas and New Year 2025 gift box model: Located on the Northern landscape floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge; New Year 2025 lettering model: Located on the Southern landscape floor, West bank of Dragon Bridge (Opposite Cham Sculpture Museum). The models are highlights for people and tourists to visit and take photos on Christmas and New Year.
From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., December 20, 2024, at the Northern Landscape Deck, West Bank of Dragon Bridge (opposite VTV8), the Christmas - New Year Festival will open. The festival includes activities: Santa Claus parade with 200 Santa Claus, Snow Queen, reindeer pulling sleighs, trumpet playing, dancing and singing on Bach Dang Street extending from the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge to the foot of Dragon Bridge - where the Christmas tree is located); Cocktail performance; Lighting the Christmas Tree; Santa Claus giving gifts to children in difficult circumstances and gifts from tourism businesses to people and tourists; Wishes for the New Year; Christmas and New Year themed art programs.
Christmas Market - New Year 2025 includes 2 activities: Space to display souvenirs and decorations and Vietnamese - International Cuisine Space.
In particular, the Souvenir and Decorative Products Exhibition Space will display souvenirs and decorations for Christmas and New Year 2025; OCOP products, souvenirs). The activity takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., from December 20, 2024 to January 2, 2025 at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge (Land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De Street).
Vietnamese - International Cuisine Space includes local, regional and international cuisine. Especially the typical food stalls on Christmas and New Year (Western dishes) such as Vin chaud (hot wine), Cheese, pizza, Steak, sausage, grilled food, cakes, ...; Beer Festival, BBQ and wine making space. Activities take place from 17:00 - 22:30, from December 20, 2024 - January 2, 2025 at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge (Land on Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De Street).
At the Northern Landscape Floor, the East bank of Dragon Bridge and the East bank of Dragon Bridge Park (Tran Hung Dao - Ly Nam De Street Land), from 19:00 - 22:00, from December 20, 2024 - January 2, 2025, there will be an entertainment and experience space including games and activities with Christmas and New Year themes such as: Christmas tree decoration and Santa Claus costume contest; Christmas candy cane passing games, filling socks; Ball hunting games; Solving riddles; Beer drinking and fast sausage eating contest; realistic painting activities with the theme "Wishes for the New Year 2025"; culinary performances and experiences, preparing typical Vietnamese and international dishes; experiences making Christmas and New Year decorations;...
The Christmas and New Year themed art performance will take place from 19:00 - 22:00, from December 20, 2024 - January 2, 2025 at the Northern Landscape Floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge.
The Christmas Festival - New Year Festival in Da Nang 2025 also includes connecting activities: Press conference to announce the Da Nang Food Tour campaign, combined with the launch of the Culinary Digital Map and Culinary Tourism Passport with special incentive programs for customers collecting stamps at selected culinary locations; Mobilizing all tourism service businesses (hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, supermarkets...) to decorate according to the Christmas and New Year theme from December 1, 2024 to January 2, 2025; Art program on both banks of the Han River; Festival program, art show at tourist areas and attractions in the city; Countdown program.
