For nearly a month now, from urban to rural areas, highlands, and borders, everywhere stands out with the image of the Party flag and the national flag.
We can mention the "National Flag Road" at Suoi Lin, Muong Tac field, Phu Yen commune, green tea hill in Binh Thuan commune or streets, office yards, small alleys are also brightly decorated with Party flags and National flags.
These days, when visiting the special national historical site of Son La Prison or Tay Bac Square, it is easy to see images of young people in Ao Dai, holding red flags with yellow stars, taking pictures, creating a scene that is both sacred and modern. From preschool children to students, everyone is eager to take pictures to preserve meaningful moments of the nation. The pictures and videos are not only personal memories, but also messages of love for the homeland and country to the community.
Mr. Nguyen An Dai, Deputy Director of the Provincial Museum and Library, said: The museum is displaying the exhibition From Son La Prison to Con Dao Prison - Hell on Earth with nearly 300 documents and images of historical value. This is a way for the younger generation to better understand the value of peace , be more proud of the revolutionary tradition and foster patriotism. Since the beginning of August, the Son La Prison National Historical Site has welcomed more than 1,000 domestic and foreign visitors, demonstrating the attraction of the "red address" on the occasion of the important holiday.
Student Vu Thi Minh Hanh, Tay Bac University, shared: On every big holiday, we often choose to wear Ao Dai and take pictures with the national flag to express our feelings and pride. This time, I chose the Son La Prison National Historical Site to both learn about history and preserve memories. For the younger generation, this is not just a trend on social media, but a way to express patriotism.
The atmosphere of celebrating National Day has also become a strong source of creative inspiration in life. Many cafes, bakeries, and art classes quickly caught up with the trend, creating unique spaces.
At some coffee shops, images of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence, a map of Vietnam, the Party flag, the red flag with a yellow star, the Party newspaper... are solemnly displayed with the message "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom", "Independence - freedom - happiness". Diners enjoy taking photos and enjoying drinks and cakes designed in bright red and yellow - symbols of the Fatherland.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, owner of Ngot Bakery & Coffee, Group 1, Chieng Coi Ward, shared: The idea of making cakes with the red flag and yellow star comes from gratitude and national pride. Each cake is not only for enjoyment, but also a reminder of patriotism.
Meanwhile, the WeDraw art class in Quyet Thang group 9, To Hieu ward, chose to inspire through a weekend workshop. More than 30 students were able to freely create, decorating conical hats, cloth bags, and key chains with images of flags, soldiers, etc. Nguyen Diep Linh, a student in class 3A, Binh Minh International School happily shared: I am very proud to have made a key chain with the image of the red flag with a yellow star by myself. This will be a meaningful gift that I will keep for myself.
Creative products, though simple, have helped make love for the Fatherland closer and more everyday while still maintaining solemnity.
On the eve of the great day of the whole nation, the joyful atmosphere spreads to every street and alley. From the bustling streets to the peaceful alleys, everywhere is brilliant with the colors of the Party flag and the national flag fluttering in the wind. The bright red color combined with the yellow color of the five-pointed star seems to light up the whole space, dyeing the sky red, evoking the sacred pride in the hearts of every citizen.
“Checking in”, taking photos at historical sites or on streets lined with national flags, in red shirts with yellow stars, has become a trend that has spread strongly from young people to people in the province. Each photo with a caption about history, each clip sharing emotions when living in peace is like a “patriotic message” sent to the community.
Thanks to the spread of social networks, this trend does not stop at a personal moment, but also becomes an inspirational story, connecting the past with the present; arousing national pride and encouraging the younger generation to care and learn more about history.
