Self-reporting of traffic violations, the way traffic education touches students' hearts

TPO - Students recount their violations so that their friends can learn from them. This is a new and meaningful way of teaching traffic safety in Bac Ninh.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Bac Ninh province, recently, the Chu Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center coordinated with the Chu Traffic Police Team and parents to organize a propaganda and education session on traffic safety laws for all students of the school.

The special thing about the propaganda session is the intimate and emotional approach. Each student recounted their own violations, sharing the lessons learned for themselves and their friends. No longer were there dry warnings, but instead were real stories, real emotions, making the whole class quiet down, then together reflect on responsibility and safety.

Traffic police officers and students analyzed the causes and pointed out common violations such as: not wearing helmets, carrying more people than allowed, driving a motorbike when underage, not having a driver's license...

At the same time, traffic police officers also directly answered parents' questions, helping families better understand their role in accompanying and educating their children to strictly obey traffic laws.

At the propaganda session, the story of the heartbreaking traffic accident that occurred at 8:40 p.m. on October 6, 2025 at the intersection of Le Duan - Tran Phu Street, Chu Ward, when two students driving a motorbike caused an accident, was recalled as a strong warning. The story made many students realize the serious consequences of subjectivity and recklessness when participating in traffic.

With 1,640 students in the whole school, the number of 31 students who have violated the law is not a large number, but each case becomes a valuable lesson. The close coordination between the police, the school and parents has created an effective and practical educational model, helping to raise awareness of self-compliance with traffic safety laws.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Bac Ninh province, each violation is not only an individual mistake, but also a lesson for the whole community to look back on and change together.

The propaganda session ended with the applause of parents, the consensus of the school and the solemn eyes of the students who had just recounted their mistakes. A special lesson - where violations are turned into lessons, where each story becomes a reminder of safety and the future ahead.
