In the strong development flow of the country, the reorganization of provincial administrative units is a strategic step with a long-term vision of the Party and State, aiming to streamline the apparatus, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and maximize the potential of each region and locality.

According to the policy agreed upon at the 11th Central Party Conference (13th tenure), it is expected that Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces will merge into a new administrative unit, named Gia Lai province, with the political and administrative center located in the current Binh Dinh province.

This decision is the concretization of the spirit of innovation, regional development thinking, the East-West economic corridor axis, and the aspiration to build a new growth pole in the Central Highlands region. In the pride of the past, the mood of the people here is a blend of nostalgia for the familiar name and the expectation of a stronger, more unique and more effective future.

Binh Dinh - the land of Tay Son's heroic spirit and unique cultural depth - has long been a symbol of patriotism, indomitable spirit and outstanding talent. As the homeland of the hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, of the art of Tuong Dao Tan, of Bai Choi recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity..., Binh Dinh is the land that crystallizes the soul of Central Vietnam's culture, the pride of many generations of people here.

The new provincial administrative center after the merger is expected to be located in Quy Nhon city - a dynamically developing coastal city, which is a reasonable choice, creating favorable conditions for coordinating comprehensive development, effectively connecting the mountainous and coastal regions, and the coastal and highland regions.

The combination of the natural beauty of the sea and mountains, the richness of the diverse cultures of the Central Highlands and the strong potential in the fields of tourism, agriculture, industry, energy and logistics, will create a new growth pole full of internal strength for the whole region. This is not just a simple geographical connection, but a convergence of intelligence, determination and aspiration for far-reaching development.

With a synchronous infrastructure foundation, abundant resources and talented people, the new administrative unit after the merger will not only become a strong economic center, but also an important cultural - social, defense - security highlight, contributing to raising the position of the Central Highlands - Central region and the whole country in the near future.

Every major step of the country starts from the consensus of the people, guided by correct awareness. The reorganization of administrative units is not only an objective requirement of the development process, but also a vivid manifestation of the spirit of reform, innovation, daring to think, daring to do for the long-term interests of the nation and people.
