The 3rd Vietnam Cultural Festival has just officially opened the activities of the Vietnam Culture - Tourism Week in Poland, at the ancient Warsaw square.

The event continues the journey of promoting Vietnamese culture to the international community, especially in this Central European country rich in cultural traditions.

A bridge of refined culture

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Ho An Phong, Head of the Ministry's working delegation, along with Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai, Chairman of Śródmieście District (central district of Warsaw) Aleksander Ferens and Chairmen of Vietnamese associations and delegations in Poland attended and cut the ribbon to open the program.

The festival takes place from June 22-24, in the middle of Warsaw's Old City Square (a world cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO in 1980), where time is imprinted on every paving stone and the dark brown roof tiles tinged with history, a space full of oriental colors.

The 3rd Vietnam Cultural Festival is not only an art program but also a lively cultural dialogue between Vietnam and Poland, two countries that are geographically distant but close in humanistic spirit, aspiration for freedom and deep love for national identity.

The Old Town Square, which has witnessed many ups and downs in Poland's history, from the August Revolution to the spectacular revival after the world war, is now the stage for an art program from Vietnam.

This festival is a continuation of the two previous editions and is also a qualitative development in both scale and cultural depth, as it is held for the first time in the historic center of Warsaw, demonstrating Poland's respect and openness to cultural values from Vietnam.

The highlight was the special art program performed by the Vietnam Music, Dance and Song Theater, with the collaboration of artists from the Vietnamese community in Poland, bringing profound folk music, graceful contemporary folk dances, and touching Vietnamese-Polish exchange songs.

Thousands of participants, including Vietnamese expatriates in Poland, local people and international tourists, joined in the festive atmosphere.

Spreading Vietnamese beauty in the heart of Europe

This event is a close collaboration between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Embassy of Vietnam in Poland and the Association of Vietnamese People in Poland, aiming to create a solid foundation for the process of spreading Vietnamese culture among the international community.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Śródmieście District (the central district of Warsaw), Mr. Aleksander Ferens expressed his honor that the locality was chosen as the venue for the event: “This is a valuable opportunity for the people of Warsaw to directly experience the beauty of Vietnamese culture, a country with a long history and rich traditions.”

From the perspective of an urban manager, this is a strong affirmation of the role of culture as a delicate and sustainable bridge between different communities.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai shared: “The event not only contributes to promoting the image of the beautiful country of Vietnam but also serves as a bridge to foster the friendly and cooperative relationship between the people of Vietnam and Poland.”

This is a confirmation of the long-term vision of Vietnamese cultural diplomacy, bringing art and national spirit into a common language with the world. In particular, the participation of the Vietnamese community in Poland is not only a symbolic factor, but also a powerful endogenous resource. They are both the audience and the organizers of the event. Vietnamese hands in foreign lands have joined hands to weave a rich, charming and courageous cultural tapestry.

According to information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the festival is just the starting point of the Vietnam Culture - Tourism Week in Poland, with a series of diverse activities: From art photo exhibitions, traditional handicraft display spaces, introduction of Vietnamese cuisine, to promotions of tours, new destinations, and unique experience products.

These activities not only remind overseas Vietnamese of their homeland, but also open up new journeys for Polish tourists who want to visit Vietnam, a place with beautiful landscapes, historical depth, cultural differences and friendliness and hospitality.

Poland and Vietnam, two countries that have experienced many historical challenges, now meet again in the space of culture, art, humanity and aspiration for a bright future.

Invisible bridges created from music, dance, ao dai, conical hats… are extending the journey of friendship, so that after each festival, it contributes to strengthening bilateral relations.

The 3rd Vietnam Cultural Festival in Poland is an invitation to international friends to Vietnam, where culture is not only heritage, but also life, a place that welcomes hearts searching for sincere beauty to immerse themselves in the "Vietnamese soul" in the middle of Europe./.
