Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ninh Thuan Liberation Day and the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and at the same time realize the goal of making tourism a spearhead economic sector, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province will organize "Ninh Thuan Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025" with the theme: "Ninh Thuan - Land of convergence of different values".

The event will take place from April 30 to May 4, 2025 at the Monument area, April 16 Square, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City and districts in the province, promising to bring a unique cultural, sports , tourism and culinary space, attracting a large number of tourists and locals.

The week will include a series of diverse and attractive activities: A special opening program (8:00 p.m. on April 30) combined with a brilliant fireworks display and a modern drone light show.

Booths display typical products, introduce local and regional cuisine , as well as OCOP products. Exciting sports activities: Dam Nai Dragon Boat Race; Amateur Cycling Race; Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place from May 1 to 3.

In addition, the Week also has a variety of response activities, taking place before and after the main event such as: Ao Dai and folk dance performance (April 13); "Miss All-round Businesswoman" Final (April 19); Raglai Bac Ai Cultural Festival (April 24-25); My Tan Fishing Festival (May 11-16)...

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province, said that preparations for the event are being carried out urgently and carefully and have been completed, ready for the opening day.

The event is expected to create a strong influence, effectively promote the culture, people and cuisine of Ninh Thuan, while providing an attractive entertainment space, creating opportunities for exchange and promotion for businesses.

Special cultural activities

In the first quarter of 2025, cultural, sports and tourism activities in the province took place vigorously, achieving impressive results: the total number of visitors and vacationers was estimated at 890,000 (up 11.25% over the same period), social income from tourism was estimated at 1,060 billion VND. In March 2025 alone, the total number of visitors was estimated at 260,000, with income reaching 315 billion VND.

In 2025, Ninh Thuan aims to welcome 3,600,000 visitors, with total tourism revenue estimated at VND4,500 billion. The 2025 Culture, Sports, Tourism and Cuisine Week is considered one of the important events contributing to the realization of this goal.
