♦ Dear comrade, how do you evaluate the significance of the program "Vietnam Pride Bus" for today's young generation?
This is an extremely special program, which can be seen as a spiritual gift from the youth of the whole country to the great festival of the nation on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The program was inspired by the image of the liberation artists. During the fierce days of war under the rain of bombs and bullets of the enemy, the singing of the liberation artists not only encouraged the soldiers' spirit but also fostered their indomitable will, the desire to fight and win, with a spirit of "Splitting Truong Son to save the country. With hearts full of hope for the future" to encourage the heroic fight of the nation. And after 80 years of the country's independence, the young generation wants to travel together along the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail to go from the South to the North through the Pride of Vietnam journey on a very special and meaningful bus ride to pay tribute to the generations of ancestors who have fallen and spread the spirit of patriotism and national pride through songs and singing.
♦ When the "Vietnam Pride Bus" rolled through the localities, first stopping in Dak Lak, what values did the youth of the province receive?
We are very honored and proud that Dak Lak is the first destination of the journey. The bus has brought proud melodies, stories about the national flag and memories of the war time to roll on historical roads. At Nghinh Phong Tower Square, many union members, youth and people have immersed themselves in the musical space full of pride and emotion.
Songs about the country, people, and the heroic history of the nation's struggle were performed by young artists with abundant energy. Through heroic songs and stories about the origins, union members and young people better understand the value of independence and freedom, and are more proud of the heroic revolutionary tradition of the nation; they practice the spirit of solidarity, communication skills, cooperation, and adaptability through the collective journey, thereby becoming more confident on the path of self-reliance and career development.
"I believe that pride does not stop at emotions but needs to be transformed into action. It is that each young person lives more responsibly towards themselves, their families, and their communities; constantly learning and practicing to master knowledge and technology; being ready to commit, start a business, and be creative" - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union |
Through experiential activities, meeting historical witnesses, visiting landmarks and relics, young people are nurtured with revolutionary beliefs and ideals; at the same time, they are encouraged to live with ambition, aspiration to contribute and train themselves.
The participation of famous artists such as Haley, Vo Ha Tram, Phuong Thanh, Suboi is a special highlight of the program. The artists told stories about the history, origin of the nation, land, forest, sea, people and sovereignty of Vietnam through many traditional and modern songs with proud melodies such as: Golden forest, silver sea, I wish to be a Vietnamese person, Hard feet, Soft rocks, Like having Uncle Ho in the great victory day, Shrimp and fish song...
For the young people of Dak Lak, this is an opportunity to approach and interact with their favorite idols; thereby feeling more clearly the connection between modern music and revolutionary tradition, between personal aspirations and shared responsibility for the country. Their presence contributes to igniting passion, encouraging young people to live with ambition, dare to dream and contribute more to the community.

♦ According to you, what is the biggest message this journey wants to send to today's young generation?
The most important message is to arouse national pride, continuing the aspirations of our ancestors on the path of building and developing the country. The journey along the legendary Truong Son is not only to pay tribute to the fallen generations but also to remind today's youth: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom". Through music, art, exchange and gratitude activities, we hope that each young person will nurture their love for their homeland, preserve national identity, and at the same time foster their aspirations to conquer knowledge, innovate and contribute to a rich, civilized and powerful Vietnam.
♦ Thank you!
