Proud of a country
Responding to the campaign “Proud of a strip of country” organized by the Central Youth Union, Lao Cai City High School No. 3 has implemented the activity of decorating the national flag in the school space. And the idea of forming the shape of the country with the participation of 500 students of the school has been realized. Not only recreating the map of Vietnam, the students in the school also sang the national anthem and heroic songs expressing patriotism, then listened to the victory news at noon on April 30, 1975 of the Voice of Vietnam .
Ms. Bui Thi Kien Nhan, Secretary of the Youth Union of Lao Cai City High School No. 3, said: This activity has become a vivid lesson about patriotism and national pride, while inspiring the younger generation to continue the journey of building and defending the Fatherland.
The Light Academy Bilingual Kindergarten Youth Union also organized a meaningful activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. The kindergarten students eagerly participated in assembling the map of Vietnam, reenacting the historical event of April 30, 1975, when the liberation army entered the Independence Palace. Through this activity, the children will better understand, love and appreciate the value of peace , independence and national reunification.
Grateful Youth
A series of gratitude activities by youth were carried out by all levels of the Youth Union in the whole province to express deep gratitude to the previous generation with the theme "The Great Victory of Spring 1975 - the strength of great national unity, the aspiration for peace, national independence and the will to unify the country".
The focus was the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, which was held simultaneously at 18 martyrs' cemeteries and 24 memorial houses in the province. At the provincial level, the ceremony took place solemnly at the Nam Cuong Ward Martyrs' Cemetery (Lao Cai City). There were also activities of offering flowers, incense, and taking care of the martyrs' cemetery...
In addition, a number of practical activities were also organized such as visiting and giving gifts to more than 200 families of policy beneficiaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers; beautifying and decorating works honoring martyrs; examining and giving scholarships to children of families with meritorious services...
Honored to participate in activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Nguyen Ha My, Youth Union 11A5, Lao Cai City High School No. 3, said: I feel proud and moved to participate in meaningful activities of celebration and gratitude organized by the School Youth Union. This is like a practical lesson that helps me consolidate my historical knowledge, love and appreciate the value of peace more. I promise myself to study well, to be worthy of the sacrifices of previous generations so that we can live in independence and peace today.
Traditional Fire
With the desire to help members better understand the Victory of April 30, 1975, the Youth Union organized a series of meaningful activities such as: Journey to the red address, exchanges, traditional talks... Lao Cai youth were able to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army; the glorious feats of our army and people in the resistance war against the US to save the country, the struggle for national liberation, and national reunification. Young people also understood more clearly the heroic sacrifices of heroic martyrs; shining examples of comradeship and comradeship in the fire of war...
Propaganda work is promoted through media, social networks, and political activities, creating a widespread effect among union members, youth, and all classes of people.
