Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission - Nguyen Viet Cuong and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Tran Hai Phu awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives with outstanding achievements in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", period 2021-2024.

1. Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Tran Hai Phu said that the provincial level and 100% of the district-level Youth Union units issued phased implementation plans and annual implementation plans; at the same time, focusing on directing and implementing according to the motto "above first, below last", "inside first, outside later", "learning goes hand in hand with following", taking the results of "following" to evaluate the results of collectives and individuals associated with the content of the core revolutionary action movement of the Youth Union. Youth Unions at all levels in the province focus on following through specific actions and deeds in daily life, considering this a regular, continuous task, the responsibility of each cadre, union member, youth (YVTN), especially the leaders of all levels of the Youth Union, Association, and Team.

Over the past 3 years (2021-2024), propaganda andeducation work to raise awareness among Youth Union officials, members, and young people about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle has been focused on. The Youth Union's information and propaganda channels have posted more than 10,000 news, articles, and publications on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, on advanced models, good people, good deeds, and beautiful examples and stories among young people.

Youth Unions at all levels in the province organized nearly 2,000 activities and programs such as seminars, talks, contests to learn about Directive No. 05-CT/TW and storytelling, festivals to propagate revolutionary songs with themes praising the Party, Uncle Ho, etc. The Provincial Youth Union and its District, Town, City and affiliated Youth Unions organized nearly 250 conferences to study and disseminate specialized topics with nearly 45,000 Youth Union members participating; more than 90,000 Youth Union members were deployed to study and propagate through study conferences, executive committee meetings, grassroots Youth Union branch meetings and to grasp propaganda information through social networking sites and Zalo groups of Youth Union bases.

2. Currently, 100% of the Youth Union at all levels in the province have effective models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The content of studying and following Uncle Ho's example is concretized in volunteer activities. Typically, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has implemented more than 100 National Flag Road projects worth more than 2 billion VND; simultaneously implemented the model of Filial Children, Youth Projects taking care of projects honoring martyrs; organized more than 2,000 journeys Continuing the tradition of Long An's bravery and resilience; implemented more than 70 projects to digitize historical and cultural relics; implemented 188 projects of Bright, green, clean, beautiful and safe routes; repaired more than 550km of rural roads; repaired and built more than 70 new houses for policy families, people and youth facing housing difficulties;...

Integrating learning and following Uncle Ho's teachings through youth startup activities

In addition to the typical projects, Long An youth also enthusiastically participate in projects and tasks contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas. High-profile volunteer activities such as Spring Volunteers, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Voluntary Blood Donation, Young Doctors Day following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health, etc. attract a large number of young union members to participate.

Through studying and following Uncle Ho's example with specific and practical actions, the district and grassroots Youth Unions have honored more than 800 advanced collectives and individuals who follow Uncle Ho's teachings. The Provincial Youth Union honored 20 collectives and 37 typical individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings; the Provincial Youth Union Councils at all levels have awarded the title of Uncle Ho's Good Children to 148,235 exemplary members; honored 10 outstanding young citizens of the province; and introduced 5 delegates to attend the 7th Congress of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in Hanoi. In particular, with many outstanding movements and models of activities, last year, the Provincial Youth Union was classified by the Central Youth Union Secretariat as having excellently fulfilled its tasks and received the Emulation Flag of the Central Youth Union for 3 consecutive years (2021-2023).

Mr. Tran Hai Phu added that the young generation is living in a period of innovation and integration; receiving the attention, care, trust and expectations of Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, organizations and the whole society. He suggested that the Youth Union at all levels, cadres and young union members in the province continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, promote studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, considering this an important factor to build a new generation of young people with "Pure heart - Bright mind - Great ambition".
