At the Van Tuong Martyrs' Cemetery, union members and young people offered incense and flowers, expressing their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, they visited the Van Tuong Victory Museum, learned about and reviewed the heroic tradition of the army and people of Quang Ngai in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Union members and young people were excited to hear stories told by veterans who directly participated in the historic Van Tuong battle 60 years ago. Thereby, they were more proud of the revolutionary tradition of the heroic land of Van Tuong.
Promoting the moral principles of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree”, Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tri in Tan Hy 2 village, Van Tuong commune. She lost her husband and son in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
The meaningful activities in the Journey to the Red Address not only educate revolutionary traditions for union members and young people, but also contribute to fostering patriotism and national pride, adding motivation for the young generation of Quang Ngai to contribute to their homeland and country.
