On the morning of September 22 (ie August 20 of the lunar calendar), at the Tran Hung Dao Temple (Nha Trang City), an incense offering ceremony was held to commemorate the 724th death anniversary of the national hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (1300 - 2024). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports ; leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Nha Trang City; representatives of the Naval Academy; and many local people, the Tran family council in Khanh Hoa attended the ceremony and offered incense to Hung Dao Dai Vuong.

The memorial ceremony took place with rituals of praying for national peace and prosperity, and traditional sacrifices. The delegates and people together reviewed the biography and great achievements of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. Accordingly, National Hero Tran Quoc Tuan was born in 1228, belonging to the royal family of the Tran Dynasty. Since childhood, he was famous for his handsome appearance, outstanding intelligence, and ability in both literature and martial arts. Hung Dao Dai Vuong's life and career were closely linked to the resistance war against the Mongol invaders of the Dai Viet people in the 13th century. With his outstanding military talent, National Duke and Commander Tran Hung Dao wrote the Proclamation to the soldiers to encourage patriotism, hatred of the enemy, fighting spirit, and determination to destroy the enemy among all generals and soldiers. Throughout his life, Hung Dao Dai Vuong always put national interests above personal interests; devoted himself to nurturing national unity. On August 20, Canh Ty year (1300), Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan passed away in Van Kiep ( Hai Duong province).
