On September 29, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union held a ceremony to honor students who won national and international prizes in the 2023-2024 school year.
Attending were: Vice President of Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien; Secretary of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , President of the Central Committee of Vietnam Students' Association Nguyen Minh Triet.

Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union Ngo Duy Hieu said that commending excellent students who have won national and international prizes has become a regular activity of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, aiming to honor the children of officials, union members and workers in the whole bloc.
In the 2023-2024 school year, thousands of children of civil servants and public employees under the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union overcame difficulties, excelled in their studies, actively participated and won high prizes in excellent student competitions at the provincial, city, national and international levels.
There are 1,380 students who won national and international prizes in the fields of nature, society, culture, arts, sports, etc. Of which: 345 students won first prizes and gold medals; 365 students won second prizes and silver medals; 515 students won third prizes and bronze medals and 155 students won encouragement prizes.
"The students have shown excellent achievements in all aspects, from professional exams to sports activities, debates and many other competitions. The remarkable results mentioned above demonstrate the students' persistent efforts; at the same time, they are the result of the comprehensive care of their parents," Vice President Ngo Duy Hieu said, hoping that the students will continue to strive in the following school years; hoping that parents will spend more time and effort taking care of their children to become good children, good students and useful citizens in the future.
