Tuyen Hoa: Temporarily stop building new, repairing, and upgrading headquarters of agencies and units

(QBĐT) - Chairman of Tuyen Hoa District People's Committee Le Nam Giang said: Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on reviewing and temporarily suspending the implementation of new construction, repair, renovation and upgrading of offices of agencies and units during the implementation of the plan to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system, Tuyen Hoa District People's Committee has temporarily suspended the implementation of many works and projects in the relevant area.

Tuyen Hoa District Cultural Center project temporarily suspended construction pending implementation of organizational restructuring plan.

Among the projects that had to be temporarily suspended, there was 1 project from the central budget, 2 projects from the provincial budget, 10 projects from district and commune budgets, and a number of projects with capital from national target programs; the total capital was over 112 billion VND.

Specifically, the project with investment capital from the central budget is the Tuyen Hoa District Cultural Center project, with a total approved investment of 50 billion VND and after adjustment is 55.5 billion VND; expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025. The value and volume of completed construction and installation package acceptance reached 26.3/36.9 billion VND, accounting for 71% of the package value.

The project has investment capital from the provincial budget, including: Interior equipment project and auxiliary items of Tuyen Hoa District Cultural Center with a total investment of 20 billion VND; embankment project to prevent landslides of the campus and fence of Tuyen Hoa District Party Committee headquarters, with a total investment of 3 billion VND.

Projects with investment capital from the district and commune budgets have a total investment of over 25.3 billion VND, including: Construction of police headquarters of communes and towns; office building of Thuan Hoa Commune People's Committee, one-stop office building connecting Dong Le Town People's Committee, office building of Mai Hoa Commune People's Committee, cultural houses of some villages...

Among the suspended projects, 5 are in progress, 2 are not yet completed, and the remaining projects are completing related documents.
