Tuyen Quang evaluates and classifies 7 OCOP products

7 product profiles were evaluated and classified by the Council to participate in the OCOP program of Tuyen Quang province, including 4 tea products, 2 honey products and Chiem Hoa sticky rice cake product. Among these products, 2 products were proposed to be evaluated and classified from 3 stars to 4 stars; 4 products were proposed to be re-evaluated and classified from 4 stars and 1 product was proposed to be evaluated and classified from 4 stars to 5 stars.

The Council members reviewed the dossier and content of product evaluation and classification according to Decision No. 148/QD-TTg dated February 24, 2023 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying products of the One Commune One Product Program and current regulations of the State.

Based on the results of the evaluation and classification of products participating in the OCOP program, the members of the Evaluation and Classification Council of products participating in the OCOP program of Tuyen Quang province unanimously submitted a proposal to the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province to issue a Decision approving the results of the evaluation, classification and granting of OCOP product certificates for 6 provincial-level products, including 2 products upgraded to achieve OCOP product status from 3 stars to 4 stars; 4 products reclassified to achieve OCOP 4 stars; 1 product proposed to the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province to submit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to establish a Central Evaluation and Classification Council of OCOP products to consider, evaluate, classify and propose recognition of products achieving OCOP 5 stars.
