Tuyen Quang applies digital signature to shorten administrative procedure processing time

DNVN - In the process of operating the administrative apparatus according to the two-level local government model, the application of digital signatures has been identified as a key solution, both ensuring uninterrupted work and improving management efficiency, enhancing transparency and bringing flexibility in document processing as well as administrative procedures.

According to Tuyen Quang Newspaper, in Binh Ca commune, the implementation of digital signatures has become routine and an indispensable part of the direction and management work. Ms. Luu Thi Lan Huong - Chairman of Binh Ca Commune People's Committee - said: "After the merger, the commune's area is larger, the volume of documents has increased significantly. Thanks to digital signatures, we process work faster and more flexibly.

Documents are signed, transferred and issued entirely online, saving significant time and costs.” Professionals also appreciate the convenience that digital signatures bring, when the process of signing, approving, submitting to leaders and issuing documents no longer depends on time or geographical location. In many cases, commune leaders can sign and approve documents remotely, ensuring that the progress of processing people's records is not interrupted.

The application of digital signatures at Binh Ca also contributes to the transparency of administrative processes, because each processing step is recorded and stored by the system, thereby enhancing the responsibility of officers and civil servants when participating in handling documents.

Not only stopping at communes with favorable infrastructure, many remote and isolated localities are also quickly adapting to digital transformation requirements, including the use of digital signatures in public administration.

A typical example is in Ho Thau commune - a difficult area with six villages in the mobile signal depression area. Chairman of the People's Committee Hoang Xuan Hoa shared: "Once I was in a remote village when I received a message that I urgently needed to sign a document. Although I had to move to a place with signal to connect to the internet, the whole process took very little time. Previously, the documents would have had to wait until the next day, but now they are processed immediately, helping to save many working hours each day."

According to the report of the Department of Science and Technology of Tuyen Quang, up to now, 100% of provincial departments, branches and sectors have completed their dossiers, been granted digital certificates and deployed the use of digital signatures for public service. At the commune level, all People's Committees of communes and wards have also sent dossiers requesting the issuance of digital signatures to the officers in charge, serving the digitization of administrative records, ensuring synchronous deployment across the system.

In fact, the use of digital signatures has changed the traditional working method, contributing to raising the sense of responsibility, discipline and administrative discipline among the staff and civil servants. Operations are performed entirely on document management and administration software, making inspection and monitoring easier.

At the same time, the work processing is shortened, administrative costs are significantly reduced, creating conditions to serve people and businesses more quickly, conveniently and effectively.
