Propaganda to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection

(laichau.gov.vn) In order to promote propaganda activities towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department issued Instruction No. 22-HD/BTGDVTU, emphasizing the key content:

I- TOPICS AND PROPAGANDA CONTENT

1. Propaganda theme: "REVOLUTIONARY, REGULAR, ELITE, MODERN PEOPLE'S PUBLIC SECURITY IS A RELIABLE BASE OF THE PARTY, STATE AND PEOPLE"

2. Propaganda content

- History and significance of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945); the process of building, fighting and growing up of the Vietnam People's Public Security force over the past 80 years, associated with the glorious revolutionary fighting tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the great victories in the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and protection of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; affirming the heroic qualities, steadfastness, loyalty to the Party, and devotion to the people of the People's Public Security force - an important and trustworthy armed force of the Party, State and People.

- Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the cause of protecting security and order, building a clean and strong force, especially the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security - the "compass" for all activities of the People's Public Security force in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam; the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on national security protection, ensuring social order and safety, especially the thoughts and viewpoints stated in Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated July 25, 2018 of the Politburo on the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in cyberspace, Resolution No. 51-NQ/TW dated September 5, 2019 of the Politburo on the Strategy for protecting national security, Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on Promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation, Resolution No. 44-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 of the 8th Central Conference (term XIII) on the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation; Achievements in the cause of building the Vietnam People's Public Security force, successfully implementing the goals and tasks of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

- The birth and great and profound significance of the National Day for National Security Protection - The People's Day, the spirit of great national unity, promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and all classes of people for the cause of protecting security and order; affirming the achievements and results obtained in the National Day for National Security Protection movement over the past 20 years as an important basis for building "the people's hearts", the people's security posture, the people's security associated with the national defense posture, the national defense in the cause of building and protecting the country, especially in strategic areas, border lines, seas, islands, ethnic minority areas, religious areas, etc.; lessons learned, directions, key tasks to firmly protect national security, ensure social order and safety in all situations, create a peaceful , stable, secure and safe environment for national development.

- Honor and express gratitude to the heroic martyrs, generations of cadres and soldiers of the People's Public Security who have devoted and sacrificed themselves to achieve outstanding feats and achievements, contributing to protecting the Party, protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the peaceful and happy life of the People; focus on discovering and praising good models, creative ways of doing things, typical collectives and individuals in the movements "For National Security", "All people protect national security" and patriotic emulation movements, campaigns of the Central and local levels; affirm the efforts to overcome all difficulties and hardships of the Vietnam People's Public Security force, always loyal to the Fatherland, the People, the Party and the State, completing all assigned tasks, achieving many achievements, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, the State and the People.

- Deeply reflects the close relationship between the Police and the People, the Vietnam Police is the People's Police, born from the People, serving the People; the close connection between the Police and sectors, levels, mass organizations, between the People's Police and the People's Army in performing national defense and security tasks, serving economic and social development.

- Strengthen the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fight against and refute distorted arguments and wrong viewpoints, defeat the "peaceful evolution" plot of hostile forces, promote "self-evolution", "self-transformation" and "depoliticization" of the People's Public Security force, and divide the solidarity and close relationship between the People's Public Security and all classes of people.

- Propaganda and commemoration activities take place at all levels, sectors and organizations from the central to grassroots levels; focusing on the movements of "gratitude", activities of returning to the source; praising and encouraging activities to take care of policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, remote areas, border areas and islands of the Fatherland.

II- FORM AND TIME OF PROPAGANDA

1. Form of propaganda

- Propaganda on mass media, electronic information portals, electronic information pages; on the internet, social networks (zalo, facebook, youtube, tiktok, ...); press publications, focusing on propaganda on social networking platforms with large interactions...

- Oral propaganda through reporters at all levels, grassroots propagandists; history competitions...

- Visual propaganda (banners, slogans, billboards, posters...).

- During regular meetings of Party cells; socio-political organizations; village, hamlet, and residential group meetings; during flag-saluting hours and class activities at educational and training institutions; political theory training and fostering programs...

- Organize cultural, artistic, sports activities, art performances; activities of "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", seminars, exchanges, meetings, traditional talks, journeys to the source... associated with propaganda to carry out political tasks; review and renovate urban areas, residential areas, information clusters, propaganda, billboards, replace old slogans, no longer suitable; guide agencies, units and people to hang Party flags, national flags in advance on the occasion of the anniversary, National Day for National Security Protection.

2. Propaganda time: Propaganda from now until the end of the event, intensive propaganda from August 10, 2025 to August 20, 2025.
