
Telecommunications is a technical economic service sector in the infrastructure of the national economy, and at the same time is an important driving force for socio-economic development, contributing to improving people's lives and ensuring national defense and security.
Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Information and Communications to direct press and media agencies and grassroots information systems to organize propaganda to inform people in the province that the conclusion of the World Health Organization (WHO) is that there is no evidence that electromagnetic waves from mobile information transmission stations (BTS) can affect human health; support the construction and development of BTS stations in particular and the development of telecommunications infrastructure in general to serve the development of the digital economy, digital society and digital government.
The Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Police, the Department of Information and Communications, the People's Committees at district and commune levels, relevant agencies and units, within the scope of their duties and powers, shall protect telecommunications infrastructure, handle acts of obstructing legal construction, and acts of sabotage and infringement of telecommunications infrastructure.
Handling of violations is prescribed in Clause 3, Article 42 of Decree No. 15 dated February 3, 2020 of the Government on penalties for administrative violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology and electronic transactions.
