Propagating laws on safe and economical use of electricity in localities

(BL-KP) In early April, Bac Lieu Electricity Company coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Economy - Infrastructure and Urban Areas of Hoa Binh district, Gia Rai town to organize a conference to disseminate laws on safe and economical use of electricity and the work of protecting the safety of high-voltage power grid works in 2025.

In each locality, there were nearly 120 delegates representing district and commune levels, production and business enterprises, high school students, and customers using electricity for shrimp farming and daily life attending.

The conference deployed legal documents in the electricity sector, providing guidance on implementing measures to use electricity safely, economically and effectively; the security and order situation related to the electricity sector, the tricks of impersonating electricity employees to commit fraud; the situation of theft of materials and equipment in the electricity sector; and the work of preventing and fighting fires and explosions in electricity projects in the area. The conference also distributed documents, leaflets and posters to promote the protection of high-voltage power grid projects to the delegates attending.

The conference aims to raise awareness among people and electricity users about legal regulations in the electricity sector such as the work of protecting the safety of high-voltage power grid works and using electricity safely, economically and effectively; helping officials and civil servants at the grassroots level to effectively apply legal regulations in the electricity sector in coordinating the handling and resolving related cases.
