Hoai Nhon Town: Journey of a young doctor following Uncle Ho's teachings in An Toan commune (An Lao)

(BD) - On May 13, the Town Youth Union, Vietnam Youth Union of Hoai Nhon Town in coordination with the Youth Union of Bong Son Regional General Hospital organized the program "Young Doctors following Uncle Ho's teachings, volunteering for community health in 2023" in An Toan commune (An Lao district).

At the program, young doctors and nurses examined, provided health consultations, and dispensed free medicine to nearly 200 people; disseminated information on how to prevent and fight some common diseases in the summer; and organized instruction on hand washing with soap and hand, foot, and mouth disease prevention for children.

At the same time, the delegation also gave 90 gifts to families in difficult circumstances; free haircuts to 50 children. The total cost of the program was over 30 million VND.

The journey of young doctors following Uncle Ho's teachings   Contribute to educating and encouraging the spirit of beautiful living, humanity, and affection among young people; promote the spirit of volunteerism of young doctors to participate in social security activities, care for, and improve people's health.
