At around 5:30 p.m., the flight of the Vietnam U23 team landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. After the tournament, the Vietnam U23 players will return to their home clubs to continue preparing for upcoming domestic tournaments, including the V-League and the First Division. Many members of the team are currently important pillars at domestic clubs.

In the near future, it is likely that these players will soon regroup to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games to be held in Thailand later this year. The men's football event at this Games will be played in the U22 age group and will not allow the use of over-age players.

Coach Kim Sang-sik could not hide his joy and pride: "I am very happy to have just finished a successful journey in Indonesia. When we returned to Vietnam, we were warmly welcomed. I am very proud of my students. They played very well and won the championship. I would like to thank the players and other members of the team."

Coach Kim also emphasized the importance of the recent tournament for the progress of young players: "I think that through this tournament, the players will gain valuable experiences, which will be useful in the upcoming journey, towards the U23 Asian qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games."

Striker Nguyen Dinh Bac received the title of "Best Player" - Southeast Asian U23 Championship 2025. Holding the trophy in his hand at the airport, Dinh Bac shared: "My feelings right now are very happy because I brought the trophy back to Vietnam. The achievement of "Best Player" - Southeast Asian U23 Championship 2025 that I received is thanks to the support of my teammates, without everyone, I could not have this achievement".
