According to initial information, the pregnant woman was Ms. Ngo Thi Dan, Phuoc Loc 2 quarter, Phu Yen ward. While at home, she suddenly had severe abdominal pain, showing signs of impending labor. The family immediately called the authorities and medical staff for help, but due to the effects of the storm and flood, the phone signal was unstable and they could not contact her. Worried that the situation would worsen, the couple decided to walk to the national highway in the hope of meeting someone passing by to help.

At that moment, a working group from Phu Yen ward was on their way to bring necessities to support people in the isolated area when they discovered the couple waiting in the heavy rain, knee-deep in water. Realizing the emergency, the authorities quickly put Ms. Dan in the car, cleared the way through the fast-flowing water to move to the hospital.
