U17 Vietnam marks impressive milestone, ready to win ticket to Asian tournament

Coach Cristiano Roland's team continued to defeat U17 Macau (China) with a score of 4-0 to maintain the top position in Group C. Notably, after 4 matches, coach Cristiano Roland's team has scored 26 goals and has not conceded any goals.

Statistics show that U17 Vietnam is one of only four teams that have not conceded a goal, along with U17 China (Group A), U17 Australia (Group E) and U17 Kuwait (Group F).

In addition, the number of goals scored by the red shirt players is also the second highest in the tournament so far, only after U17 China (38 goals). This is considered an extremely impressive achievement of the young talents under the guidance of the Brazilian strategist.

Notably, the team that brought the most goals to Vietnam U17, U17 Northern Marina Islands (14 goals), is also the team that conceded the most goals in this Asian qualifying round, having had to pick the ball out of the net 33 times.

Despite winning all 4 matches, U17 Vietnam will have to fight in the final match with U17 Malaysia to compete for the only ticket to the final round of the U17 Asian Cup next year. Before the final match, coach Cristiano Roland affirmed that the Vietnam U17 team will prepare carefully to play Malaysia.
