After a 2-0 victory over Myanmar U19 women's team and a 6-0 victory over Timor Leste U19 women's team, Vietnam U19 women's team is determined to achieve the same result against Laos U19 women's team to win the group and enter the semi-finals.
In this match, coach Okiyama Masahiko made some adjustments to the starting lineup compared to the previous two matches to create playing opportunities for many players.
During the first 45 minutes, the home girls scored 6 goals thanks to a double from Le Thi Trang and Hoang Van, in addition to 2 goals from Thu Trang and Thi Nghi.
The second half also did not see any changes in the game. Coach Okiyama Masahiko made some adjustments to the personnel on the field to give other players a chance to enter the field, while at the same time, saving the energy of the players who had played before to be ready for the semi-finals.

Okiyama Masahiko's team topped the group and will meet the Indonesian U19 women's team in the semi-finals of the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship on June 16.
The remaining semi-final will take place between Thailand U19 Women and Myanmar U19 Women.
