During the training session of U23 Vietnam yesterday (July 20), Dinh Bac limped off the field right after warming up. In the end, the striker of the Hanoi Police Club had to go outside to do recovery exercises.

Currently, the extent of Dinh Bac's injury is still unknown. Previously, this striker played 76 minutes in the opening match of the U23 Southeast Asian tournament against U23 Laos and contributed 1 assist.
With this injury, the possibility of Dinh Bac playing in the decisive match against U23 Cambodia is still uncertain. That makes coach Kim Sang Sik worried about the team's attack. Before the tournament, the Korean coach was forced to remove Thanh Nhan's name due to injury.
Although U23 Vietnam won against U23 Laos with a score of 3-0 in the opening match, the team's strikers have yet to score. The players who scored were Khuat Van Khang (midfielder) and Hieu Minh (defender).

That is why coach Kim Sang Sik pays special attention to the strikers. In yesterday's training session, he marked striker Quoc Viet 1-1. He directly instructed him on how to finish, run, and gain momentum when shooting the ball. The Korean coach himself passed the ball to his student.
In the match against U23 Laos, Quoc Viet was placed in the starting lineup but only played for 45 minutes. At the beginning of the second half, the Ninh Binh Club striker left the field, giving his position to Viktor Le.
The match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Cambodia will take place at 8pm on July 22. U23 Vietnam only needs to avoid losing to U23 Cambodia to qualify for the next round. However, coach Kim Sang Sik does not want a draw but will direct the team to a convincing victory to create psychological momentum for the semi-finals.
