Contestant Tran Quan suddenly became the center of controversy after his behavioral performance was judged to be unrelated to the question asked.

Her original answer: "I am Tran Quan - an extremely strong child. I was very sad, scared and lonely at times when I was born into an incomplete family.

But with my own relentless efforts, today, I stand on this stage and want to prove to all the young people out there that: I am Tran Quan, from An Giang .

I will not stop here, I want to represent my community and speak up for myself."

This answer is considered emotional and inspirational, but irrelevant to the question asked.

Many viewers thought that her answer was rehearsed, lacked flexibility in responding to situations, and was not even related to the content of the question.

The fact that she spent a lot of time talking about her personal circumstances, interspersed with introducing her name, hometown, and unnecessary elements in her performance made her presentation seem off-topic and awkward.

Some netizens also questioned whether the contestant from coach Che Nguyen Quynh Chau's team had memorized the answer in advance, without improvising or adjusting it to suit the question.

Dan Tri reporter contacted contestant Tran Quan to get insider's opinion.

She confided: "Quan has read all the comments, encouragement and suggestions from the audience.

Quan knows that he still has many shortcomings. He accepts his mistakes and does not deny what he has done to be called into the top 6, which is a very happy thing for him. Quan would like to thank everyone who has been by his side on this journey to Miss International Queen Vietnam."

Tran Quan also said that she did not regret not being in the top 3 of the contest, but only regretted not being able to stay calm to answer her questions completely and convey good messages to everyone.

"Quan feels guilty towards his mentor and all those who have followed and supported him in the past time," she expressed.

Frankly responding to the question about whether he memorized or "studied" the behavioral answers, Tran Quan said: "I answered like that because I lost my composure. Of course, I didn't know the questions in advance or memorized them.

The words I said may have been partly because I was too nervous. I just wish I could read the question again so my answer would be more complete. Because when I stand on stage, it is proof of my choice to live life to the fullest for my passion."

Tran Quan (born 2003, from An Giang), used to be a worker before pursuing a modeling career. She is 1.75m tall, with measurements of 84-62-94cm. Previously, she entered the top 10 of this contest in 2023 and returned this year with high expectations, but the results were not as expected.

Miss International Queen Vietnam is a program for transgender beauties, organized by Miss Huong Giang's company. The program is not officially licensed as a beauty contest, but is conducted in the form of skills training.

Contestants will go through challenges with 4 coaches. The person with the highest score will be chosen to represent Vietnam at the international competition.
