The school's persistent efforts have been recognized by maintaining the title of "Outstanding Labor Collective" awarded by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for three consecutive academic years (2022-2023; 2023-2024; 2024-2025). To achieve this title, Phi My Kindergarten has consistently pursued the goal of improving the overall quality of education , focusing on solving the unique challenges of education in border regions. The school has shifted from traditional, one-way teaching methods to a child-centered approach, aiming to stimulate and maximize children's creative thinking.
Ms. Nong Thi Trieu Hang, Party Secretary and Principal of the school, said: "Recently, the school's management board has identified the core element as improving the capacity of the staff, teachers, and employees, and innovating teaching methods. We focus deeply on building a safe and friendly educational environment, applying the STEAM method and experiential activities naturally integrated into the preschool education program. The highest goal is to help children develop comprehensively in terms of physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional-social, and aesthetic aspects; forming skills and habits so that children are confident and ready to enter first grade."
The effectiveness of professional solutions has been clearly demonstrated through children's development indicators over the school years. In the last three school years, the enrollment rate of children aged 18 to 24 months reached over 51%, exceeding the target of the former Trang Dinh District Education and Training Department by 3%; 100% of 5-year-old children completed the preschool education program, and the malnutrition rate among children remained below 3%. In particular, in the STEAM activity corners of each class, children are free to be creative and practice learning projects, helping to develop logical thinking and teamwork skills from a young age.
Alongside improving the quality of teaching, the school has implemented digital transformation for its staff, teachers, and parents, including: cashless payment of fees; application of digital technology software in lesson planning, class management, and child assessment; use of software for management, meal planning, accounting, accreditation, universal education, and enrollment... Currently, 100% of personnel management records are digitized.
Ms. Thao Thi Hong, a parent whose child is attending the 2-year-old class at Phi My Kindergarten, said: "The school's increased use of digital technology in communication has given us parents great peace of mind, allowing us to stay informed about our children's meals and daily routines. Besides that, I've noticed my child has become more confident, outgoing, and enjoys going to school more thanks to the diverse experiential activities organized by the school."
In addition to excelling in its professional work, Phi My Kindergarten also focuses on preserving culture through activities such as: establishing a club for singing Then folk songs and playing the Tinh lute; integrating folk games into children's daily activities; and having children wear traditional ethnic costumes on local festivals...
Mr. Nong Trung Kien, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Quoc Khanh Commune, assessed: Phi My Kindergarten is a shining example of professional excellence in the commune. We highly appreciate the school's contributions to the overall education of the locality. The school's activities are not only confined to the school but also strongly connect and spread to neighboring areas, becoming a bright example in the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning.
We believe that, with the dedication of these unsung heroes, this school will forever remain a trusted address for parents, a place to nurture the dreams of children in this border region of our country.
