Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district: Innovation, improving operational efficiency

WELCOME TO THE 20TH CONGRESS OF THE VIETNAM FATHERLAND FRONT OF TUYEN HOA DISTRICT, TERM 2024-2029

(QBĐT) - In the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district has actively innovated the content and methods of operation; flexibly, creatively, and proactively implemented resolutions and action programs set forth by the 19th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates of the district, term 2019-2024. Many new models have been effectively implemented, unleashing the potential resources of the people. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio -economic development tasks, maintaining national defense and security in the area.

In recent times, people of all walks of life in Tuyen Hoa district have promoted the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, diligence, and creativity, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. The district's annual economic growth rate reached 11.77%; many socio-economic targets reached and exceeded the set plan; the economic structure shifted in the right direction, the material and spiritual life of the people improved; culture and society in the area had many positive changes. Patriotic emulation movements and campaigns were implemented effectively and practically, especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas (NTM), civilized urban areas (DTVM)"...

Achieving that result is thanks to promoting the combined strength of the great solidarity bloc of the entire people, unity and high determination of the entire political system, including the important role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the district. During the term, the basic objectives of the 19th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Hoa district were achieved and exceeded the set plan. The work of propaganda, mobilization, gathering all classes of people, consolidating and promoting the strength of the great solidarity bloc of the entire nation, building and defending the Fatherland was innovated.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district supports house construction. — The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district supports the construction of "Great Unity" houses for poor households.

The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and rural areas" has been effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations from district to grassroots levels, in accordance with each residential area. In the past 5 years, the Front at all levels has mobilized people to contribute over 7 billion VND, nearly 69,000 working days, donated nearly 129,000m2 of land, ^over 44,000 trees of all kinds; and hardened over 327km of inter-commune and intra-village roads.

Many concrete roads are self-managed by the Youth Union and Association branches. Up to now, the whole district has 12 communes meeting the new rural standards, with an average of 16.06 criteria/commune, an increase of 2.86 criteria/commune compared to the beginning of the term, 10/130 residential areas have achieved model new rural residential areas.

The movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind" is regularly carried out by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels. From 2019 to 2024, Tuyen Hoa district has mobilized over 1.8 billion VND from the "For the Poor" Fund to support the construction of 20 new houses, repair 42 houses for poor households with an amount of 885 million VND; visit and give gifts on holidays and Tet; examine and treat over 4,600 poor households with a value of more than 795 million VND...

In addition, taking advantage of legal capital sources and other support, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district built 151 new houses for the poor with a total amount of more than 6 billion VND; visited and gave gifts on holidays and Tet to more than 3,400 poor households with a value of over 1.8 billion VND...

The work of receiving and distributing relief goods was closely coordinated, public, timely and to the right recipients by the Front, the government and organizations at all levels. During the term, the Front at all levels in the district received money and relief goods from 617 sponsoring groups, with a converted value of over 25 billion VND. Thereby, thousands of families affected by natural disasters, storms and floods were supported to soon stabilize their lives. To prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district mobilized nearly 2 billion VND to support the anti-epidemic force and quarantined people.

Implementing Project 85 of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on supporting breeding crossbred cows for poor households and the program to support breeding cows of the District Fatherland Front Committee, 539 poor households with especially difficult circumstances have been supported and so far the cows have given birth to 420 calves. From the program, the project has partly helped 450 households escape poverty and maintain the total livestock herd of the district.

Cultural and sports activities in Tuyen Hoa district are increasingly developing.

In the field of building cultural life, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district has coordinated with member organizations to continue to propagate and mobilize people to build a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, ceremonies and festivals to contribute to preserving, embellishing and promoting the cultural traditions of the homeland; eliminating backward customs and superstitions.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district coordinated with relevant units to mobilize people to take care of education, socialize education, and mobilize students who dropped out of school to return to school... Thanks to that, the knowledge of the people in the area was improved, the facilities for education were improved, the rate of students achieving high awards and good and excellent students at all levels was increasing.

The district's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has also closely coordinated with the authorities and Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the district to focus on mobilizing people to build models of waste collection and treatment, environmental sanitation in residential areas, and waste collection and treatment at public places. Up to now, in the district, 19/19 communes and towns have deployed waste collection and treatment models and built 9 models of "Residential areas participating in the reasonable protection of natural resources, environmental protection in response to climate change"...

Representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, the Front and its member organizations have coordinated with relevant departments and branches to organize 138 conferences to disseminate Party documents and State laws to 9,800 people; contributed comments to draft documents of the Law on Grassroots Democracy Implementation, Land Law (amended), and new legal documents in many forms...

Tuyen Hoa people join hands to protect the environment.

Coordination between the Front and the People's Council, the People's Committee of the district and related units at the same level is increasingly close, especially in organizing meetings to meet voters and dialogue with the people. Over the past 5 years, the Front at all levels has successfully organized 544 voter contact points with 2,273 opinions before and after the sessions of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. Voters' opinions and recommendations are fully compiled and sent to relevant agencies for timely consideration and resolution, contributing to creating trust among the people...

In the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district will continue to innovate, improve operational efficiency, promote its role in building the Party bloc; propagate, mobilize, and encourage people of all walks of life to compete in studying and working creatively to promote the potential and resources among the people as well as protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism activities; build and consolidate a strong system of organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.

In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Tuyen Hoa district determined that the breakthrough is to strengthen the mobilization of resources to effectively implement the movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" for poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances; the activities of the Front will be directed towards residential areas, focusing on building "Self-governed, united, prosperous, and happy" residential areas associated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and new rural areas"...

The goal for the 2024-2029 term is that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Hoa district will maintain 100% of residential areas to organize the "National Solidarity Day" every year on November 18; the district level will build and replicate 3-5 models/year, the commune level will build 1-2 model models in implementing campaigns to build at least 1 residential area in each commune "Self-governed, united, prosperous and happy"; over 90% of residential areas, 90% of units will meet cultural standards, over 90% of households will achieve "Cultural Family"; mobilize over 95% of people to participate in health insurance; mobilize support for the "For the Poor" Fund to reach 800-900 million VND/year; strive to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses by the end of 2025; Every year, 90% of the Residential Front Working Committees are ranked good or higher, 95% of the Commune-level Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees are ranked good and 52% are ranked excellent...
