The National Assembly Standing Committee gives opinions on the draft Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies (amended)

At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee listened to Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai briefly present the Draft Law; Chairman of the People's Aspirations and Supervision Committee Duong Thanh Binh briefly present the Review Report on the Draft Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies (amended).

Also in this afternoon's meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on two contents: shortening the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; deciding the election date of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, establishing the National Election Council; and the draft Law amending and supplementing the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy.
