V-League will be suspended due to National Mourning

(NLDO) - V-League and First Division matches on May 24 and 25 will not take place to observe the State funeral ceremony for former President Tran Duc Luong.

Pursuant to the announcement of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the mourning of comrade Tran Duc Luong, former member of the Politburo, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam according to the National Mourning ceremony for 2 days, from May 24 to 25, 2025.

The Organizing Committee of the 2024-2025 National Professional Football Tournaments announced the adjustment of the match schedule for round 24 matches, make-up matches for round 23 of the V-League and round 20 of the First Division, specifically as follows:
