The representative of the program's organizing committee shared that during 80 years of building, fighting and growing, the Vietnam People's Public Security force has continuously grown, becoming the core force in the cause of protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety. From the years of resistance war for national independence and freedom to the cause of renovation, construction and protection of the Fatherland, as well as in integration and development, under the leadership of the Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh, generations of cadres and soldiers of the People's Public Security have devoted themselves and sacrificed silently for the peace of the Fatherland, for the happy life of the people. They are not only a "steel shield" on the front of fighting against crime, but their image has become familiar, ready to be present in the most difficult and dangerous places, devotedly serving the people.
