Tan An City Ring Road is about 23km long, 33m wide, 4-6 lanes, 5 new bridges, synchronous lighting and drainage systems. The project starts at My Phu intersection (old Thu Thua district), ends at the intersection of National Highway 1 - Provincial Road 833. The project has a total investment of more than 3,100 billion VND, of which the construction cost is more than 1,660 billion VND, the site clearance cost is more than 1,440 billion VND. After more than 3 years of implementation, the project has been completed ahead of schedule, put into use from the end of 2023, becoming a modern traffic axis surrounding 3 wards of Long An , Tan An and Khanh Hau.
Ms. Tran Thi Bich Huyen - Secretary of Nhon Hau Ward Party Cell (Khanh Hau Ward), shared: “With the Ring Road, the face of Khanh Hau Ward has changed a lot, contributing to the locality reaching urban civilization standards. People's travel and transportation of goods are more convenient than before; traffic jams on main routes have significantly decreased. People hope that in the coming time, the State will continue to pay attention and invest in sidewalks and some welfare projects to improve people's lives.”
After 2 years of opening, the route has had a positive impact on the province's socio -economic development. In terms of economy, Tan An City Ring Road has created a continuous and interconnected traffic axis; solving the social needs for suburban development, creating a balance in the urbanization process between urban and rural areas.
The route also promotes its potential strengths; mobilizes resources, economic sectors and the State to invest in completing infrastructure; effectively exploits public land along both sides of the road, contributing significantly to balancing and calculating the effectiveness of the investment process.
Chairman of Long An Ward People's Committee Vo Hong Thao affirmed that to achieve today's results, compensation and resettlement support work is considered key. During the implementation process, the government of Tan An City (old) always closely coordinated with the investor, regularly inspected the site, removed difficulties, and urged progress. Especially thanks to the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and the consensus and support of the people, the project was completed on schedule, creating a new look for Tay Ninh province today.
New look, new stature
After nearly 2 years of operation, the project has become a highlight in urban beautification, affirming the role of transport infrastructure in promoting socio-economic development and improving people's lives. More importantly, this is a symbol of consensus between the Party, the government and the people; a testament to the province's correct policy of prioritizing investment in transport infrastructure - "paving the way for development".
Tan An City Ring Road also contributes to helping the provincial government solve problems of security, order and traffic safety; reduce traffic pressure on National Highway 1, redirect traffic to suburban areas; create an urban axis connecting sub-regions, promoting socio-economic development in the region and area.
In the context that the whole province is entering a new development stage after the merger of administrative boundaries, the Tan An City Belt Road has even more profound political significance; clearly demonstrating the success in implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress; affirming the determination to build Tay Ninh province into a dynamic, modern, and unique development center of the Southeast region./.
