At Loucus restaurant, located at C2/67 Pham Hung Street, Rach Gia Ward, Ms. Ngoc Giau and her staff are designing a diverse menu that blends traditional and modern flavors. Ms. Ngoc Giau shared: “We serve everything from steamed dishes that preserve the delicate sweetness of the ingredients, to flavorful stir-fries that stimulate the taste buds, to nutritious soups and steaming hot pots perfect for the end-of-year weather. Each choice is carefully considered to satisfy both traditional diners and those with modern tastes.”

According to Ms. Ngoc Giau, Loucus focuses on carefully selected ingredients and standardized preparation. "Customer satisfaction begins with our meticulousness," Ms. Giau shared. The restaurant always chooses fresh, high-quality food, sourced directly from suppliers and prepared by a team of chefs knowledgeable about culinary culture, ensuring exquisite flavor and food safety.

Loucus not only offers dine-in but also home delivery. Regarding ordering for a year-end party, Mr. Giang Ngoc Loi, residing in Rach Gia ward, said: “Everyone is busy at the end of the year, but my family wanted a truly perfect year-end meal to show our gratitude to customers who have supported us throughout the year. I chose to order from Loucus. The food is delicious, and the meal is presented elegantly. I want guests to enjoy this at home, making the gathering even more cozy.”

She didn't open a restaurant, but her passion for cooking and serving family meals began with a customer's social media post. A few years ago, after reading an advertisement asking "Anyone taking orders for two banquet tables at home?", Ms. My Hanh, residing in Rach Gia ward, persuaded her mother to join her in home-based cooking, primarily catering to guests, friends, relatives, or for ancestral worship ceremonies and year-end parties. For the past few years, her family kitchen has been bustling with activity, serving authentic homemade meals.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, residing in the Northwest urban area, is a regular customer of Ms. Hanh's family. Because she has many family events, Ms. Dung always asks Ms. Hanh's family to cook for her guests. Ms. Dung says she really enjoys the flavors and cooking methods of Ms. Hanh's family.

After getting dressed in her neat uniform, Ms. Hanh went home with her mother and husband to prepare the feast, bringing it to the guests' house as a way of inviting relatives to a meal. To ensure everything ran smoothly, Ms. Hanh arranged for people to prepare dried fish, shrimp paste, pickled vegetables, design gift baskets, and even set up the feast.

In Rach Gia, there's a small restaurant called "Vi Nha" (Home Flavor), located on Ba Thang Hai Street in the Phu Cuong urban area, specializing in fermented fish hotpot, seafood, and traditional Vietnamese rice dishes. With a menu of dozens of authentic home-style dishes amidst the bustling city of Rach Gia, it brings the dining experience closer to the flavors of home. Ms. Phuong Nhi from Ho Chi Minh City was introduced to "Vi Nha" by a friend during her nearly month-long stay in Rach Gia. Ms. Phuong Nhi shared: "I stayed in an apartment in the Sophia building, and for the first few days, I ate at other restaurants but gradually got tired of them, so I asked a friend for recommendations. At 'Vi Nha,' the braised fish in a clay pot, sour fish soup, and shrimp salad with water spinach left an unforgettable impression."

Currently, besides serving at the restaurant, Vi Nha also offers home delivery with a full range of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as: steamed snakehead fish with fermented fish sauce, crab and mango salad, braised fish with star fruit… Seafood dishes such as lobster and oysters have been signature items of the restaurant for many years. Ms. Ngoc Trang - owner of Vi Nha - shared: “I want to serve customers with dedication, sophistication, and attention to every small detail. So whether it's a large-scale company party or a cozy family gathering, Vi Nha is always ready to meet your needs.”

The family-style restaurant and eatery model has become a rapidly developing trend. It's not just a culinary choice; each meal offers a warm, intimate atmosphere, deeply rooted in Vietnamese family culture.
