On the afternoon of May 27, Binh Duong Club had a 1-1 draw with Hanoi FC in round 9 of V-League 2023.
Coach Troussier had a conversation with Tien Linh
When the match ended, Coach Troussier took the initiative to go down to the field and spent nearly 10 minutes talking with Coach Le Huynh Duc.
After that, the French strategist met Tien Linh and gave him many instructions. In particular, he shook hands and talked with goalkeeper Tan Truong even though the two had never worked together.
In the training session in March 2023, the "goalkeeper" of Hanoi FC was not on the list. The people called at that time were Dang Van Lam, Tran Nguyen Manh and Nguyen Van Toan.
With such a move, it can be seen that coach Troussier has most likely "chosen" these two players for the upcoming gathering of the red team.
Besides, the head coach of the Vietnamese team also had a quick talk with the three players of the Hang Day home team: Pham Tuan Hai, Nguyen Thanh Chung and Do Duy Manh.
In the match that took place on the evening of May 27, Binh Duong took the lead thanks to Nguyen Tien Linh.
Notably, this is the first goal of the striker from Hai Duong in V-League 2023.
On the opposite side, striker Nguyen Van Tung brought the equalizer for Hanoi FC.
Recently, Coach Troussier and his colleagues have been actively going to the stadium to watch V-League matches to select personnel for the Vietnam national team.
As planned, on June 5, the red team will gather again to prepare for the friendly match with Hong Kong, taking place on June 15 at Lach Tray Stadium.
