Launching the voting season for the Vietnam Golden Ball Award 2025

VHO - On the morning of November 6, at the headquarters of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper (HCMC), the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Golden Ball Award 2025 held a press conference to announce and launch the new voting season. This is the most prestigious award honoring talented Vietnamese football players, initiated and maintained by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper since 1995.

The Vietnamese Golden Ball is a title that any player dreams of.

In 2025, the Vietnam Golden Ball Award entered its 30th award season, continuing to receive the affection, love and trust of football officials, experts, coaches, players and fans nationwide.

The award not only honors the contributions of many generations of talented football players, but also becomes a driving force and aspiration for all other players.

Journalist Nguyen Khac Van affirmed that the award not only honors talent but also spreads humanistic values, inspires the spirit of overcoming difficulties and a standard lifestyle among football players.

That prestige comes from a strict and transparent voting process with the participation of experts, journalists and prestigious coaches.

The award not only honors talent but also spreads human values, inspires the spirit of overcoming difficulties and a standard lifestyle among players. In 2025, Vietnamese football will achieve many impressive achievements - this will be the basis for voting for worthy faces."

Journalist Nguyen Khac Van emphasized that the Vietnam Golden Ball Award will continue to innovate, become more modern and professional, and at the same time expand its influence in the region, to continue promoting the spirit of honest and noble sportsmanship and the aspiration to reach the pinnacle of Vietnamese sports in general and Vietnamese football in particular.

The 2025 Golden Ball Awards include 14 categories: Golden, Silver, Bronze Ball for men; Golden, Silver, Bronze Ball for women; Golden, Silver, Bronze Ball for Futsal (men); Outstanding Foreign Player, Outstanding Young Male Player, Outstanding Young Female Player; Dedication Award; "Most Favorite Player" Award.

The organizing committee launched the 2025 Golden, Silver and Bronze Ball versions.

Within the framework of the Vietnam Golden Ball Award 2025, the Organizing Committee implements the meaningful and humane program "Warm clothes to school" with the aim of taking care of poor children in remote, mountainous and especially difficult areas, who often have to deal with unusual weather, cold season, dry season, and stormy season.

Every year, Vietnamese sports and football stars will join hands and contribute to the Organizing Committee to complete this mission.

In November, the Organizing Committee will send invitations to participate in the award voting along with a list of candidates to delegates, who are football experts, coaches of national teams, coaches, captains of clubs competing in V.League, women's football clubs, Futsal clubs, colleagues representing press and television agencies across the country.

The 2025 Vietnam Golden Ball Award ceremony is expected to take place in December 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City.
