Ho Chi Minh Museum receives many valuable artifacts about Uncle Ho's life

VHO - On the morning of November 6, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Museum held a ceremony to receive documents and artifacts in 2025, towards the 55th anniversary of the Museum's founding (November 25, 1970 - November 25, 2025). The event has special significance, contributing to enriching the source of documents on the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.

The documents, photos and paintings donated to the Museum this time come from many organizations, individuals and families closely associated with Uncle Ho and the history of the Vietnamese revolution, such as the family of former Deputy Prime Minister Dang Viet Chau, the family of former Minister of Health Hoang Tich Try, the family of Ms. Phan Thi An - former Head of the International Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the family of the late musician Tran Hoan, and other collectors, artists and individuals.

Documents of the family of former Deputy Prime Minister Dang Viet Chau and Mrs. Phan Thi An: Including many photos of President Ho Chi Minh with delegates and children at the Anniversary Ceremony of the Founding of the Vietnam Workers' Party, the Lien-Viet Front and the Vietnam-Cambodia-Laos Alliance (Viet Bac, March 3, 1953), along with letters, copies of decrees and documents showing the close relationship between Uncle Ho and comrade Dang Viet Chau - an excellent student, whom Uncle Ho trusted with many important responsibilities in the Government.

Artifacts of the family of former Minister of Health Hoang Tich Try: These are precious photos of President Ho Chi Minh and some members of the Government, along with images of activities of Minister Hoang Tich Try and medical staff in the Viet Bac War Zone before 1954.

He was a patriotic intellectual, an exemplary scientist, and the founder of Vietnam's revolutionary medical industry. This is also the second time his family has donated artifacts to the Museum.

Documents donated by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, former Head of the Collection Department of Ho Chi Minh Museum: Including copies of the Declaration of Independence (September 2, 1945) and the Cuu Quoc Newspaper, collected from archives of Vietnam and the French Republic, supplementing important documents for research and exhibition work on the sacred moment of the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Manuscripts of music and lyrics of some songs about President Ho Chi Minh: Donated by the family of the late musician Tran Hoan, this is an original document that directly reflects the musician's creative process on the topic of Uncle Ho - contributing to the study of the feelings and thoughts of artists, as well as the role of music in spreading the ideological values ​​of Ho Chi Minh.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Museum also received the winning propaganda paintings in the Creative Competitions to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (1890-2025), the 110th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country (1911-2021) and the 75th anniversary of the National Resistance Day (1946-2021) organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism - works imbued with the breath of the times, expressing gratitude and respect for him.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum emphasized: "President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, Outstanding Cultural Man - left behind a huge legacy of ideology, morality, style and life example. Collecting, preserving, researching and promoting the value of documents and artifacts about him is the sacred responsibility of every organization and individual before history and future generations."
