Coach Kim Sang-sik called up 26 U22 Vietnam players to participate in the international tournament in China

VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that coach Kim Sang-sik has just announced the list of 26 players of the Vietnam U22 team to gather in the 4th session of 2025, to prepare for the international football tournament CFA Team China Panda Cup 2025 and towards the 33rd SEA Games.

The notable point in this training session is the return of striker Bui Vi Hao after a long time of injury treatment.

Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team are about to enter the preparation phase for SEA Games 33.

The presence of the striker, who used to be a familiar factor in the national team's training sessions, promises to help increase the attacking power of the Vietnam U22 team, especially in the context of the whole team aiming to compete for the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

According to plan, U22 Vietnam will gather on November 9 under the leadership of Acting Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh, then go to China to participate in the CFA Team China Panda Cup 2025.

List of 26 players gathered for U22 Vietnam

This tournament will take place from November 12 to 18 in Chengdu (Sichuan province, China), bringing together four U22 teams including China, Korea, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

The opportunity created by VFF to participate in this quality playground is expected to help U22 Vietnam have the necessary momentum before the 33rd SEA Games.

Immediately after the end of the Panda Cup 2025, U22 Vietnam will enter a rehearsal training session for the 33rd SEA Games from November 23.

During this period, the team will practice in Vung Tau (HCMC), then leave for Thailand on December 2 to attend the 33rd SEA Games.

At the 33rd SEA Games, U22 Vietnam is in Group B with U22 Malaysia and U22 Laos. According to the schedule, the team will face U22 Laos at 6:30 p.m. on December 4, then face U22 Malaysia at 6:30 p.m. on December 11.
