After many months of injury treatment, striker Bui Vi Hao officially returned to the U22 Vietnam training camp to prepare for the international football tournament CFA Team China Panda Cup 2025 (China) and towards the 33rd SEA Games taking place in Thailand next December.
Vi Hao's return helps coach Kim Sang Sik have another dangerous striker in the attack, ready for the SEA Games campaign and further the U23 Asian Cup. Before the injury, Vi Hao was a familiar face in the U23 team and the Vietnam national team.

U22 Vietnam will gather on November 9 under the leadership of Acting Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh, then go to China to participate in the CFA Team China Panda Cup 2025. This tournament takes place from November 12 to 18 in Chengdu (Sichuan province, China), the strong teams are host China, Korea, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

After the Panda Cup 2025, U22 Vietnam will begin a rehearsal training session for the 33rd SEA Games from November 23 in Vung Tau, then leave for Thailand on December 2 to attend the SEA Games.
At the 33rd SEA Games, U22 Vietnam is in Group B with U22 Malaysia and U22 Laos. According to the schedule, coach Kim Sang Sik and his team will meet U22 Laos at 6:30 p.m. on December 4, then face U22 Malaysia at 6:30 p.m. on December 11. Group B matches will take place at Tinsulanon Stadium (Songkhla).
At the Regional Games , the group winners and the best runners-up advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be held on December 15, while the bronze medal match and the final will be held on December 18, both at Rajamangala Stadium (Bangkok).
