According to the report of Dr. Nguyen Quoc Manh, Director of the Center for Archaeology (Southeastern Institute of Social Sciences ), the excavation took place from July 14 to October 30, 2025, discovering nearly 1,200 artifacts including pottery, stone, bronze, iron, glass, gold... reflecting the life and trade of ancient residents of the Southeast region.

At Go Nan, archaeologists found many pottery, stone tools, bronze axes and jade jewelry, while Go Dat Nai stands out with its rich burial objects, especially colorful Indo-Pacific glass beads, reflecting the indigenous characteristics and trade traces of ancient residents.

The acceptance ceremony also handed over 80 restored artifacts, including 75 artifacts from Go Dat Nai and 5 artifacts from Go Nan.
Experts say these two sites have high archaeological and historical value, and are eligible to be proposed for city-level relic ranking.
Mr. Do Phuoc Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized: "The ranking will be an important basis for preserving and promoting the value of relics, contributing to educating about local traditions and cultural heritage."
