Galatasaray shockingly recruits Lionel Messi

The top Turkish football team is nurturing the ambition to borrow Lionel Messi on a short-term basis, during the suspension of the US Major League Soccer (MLS).

The MLS regular season concludes in October and the playoffs continue through December.

Therefore, if Inter Miami reaches the final, Messi will play until December 6.

After that, he had a period of "sitting around doing nothing" for nearly 4 months, because the MLS season only continued in March of the following year.

According to FotoMac, Galatasaray are trying to bring Messi to Istanbul on a short-term loan deal.

In addition, they also brought in two German stars, Leroy Sane (salary 7.6 million pounds/year) and Ilkay Gundogan (salary 4 million pounds/year).
