Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just reported the implementation of Prenn Lake Tourist Area to the Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that it has approved the tasks and estimated planning for the Prenn Lake Tourist Area in Wards 3, 10 and 11, Da Lat City with an area of 1,000 hectares (of which forest land is about 679.6 hectares).
The appraisal council has appraised the Prenn Lake Tourism Area Planning Project. The Provincial People's Committee has agreed on a plan to receive funding support to bid for the selection of a consulting unit to develop a subdivision planning project for the Prenn Lake Tourism Area; assigned the Department of Construction to integrate the contents, plans, and planning indicators of the Prenn Lake Tourism Area Planning Project in the process of organizing the preparation of the Project to adjust the overall Master Plan of Da Lat City and its vicinity until 2045. Up to now, the Prenn Lake Tourism Area Planning Project has not been approved.
The limitation of Prenn Lake Tourist Area is that the planning work is prolonged. Because the zoning plan has not been approved, there is no basis for approving the project investment policy and selecting investors to implement the project according to regulations.
The main reason is that the Prenn Lake Tourist Area was approved by the People's Committee to invest in Crystal Bay Group Joint Stock Company to sponsor the 1/2000 scale zoning plan.

According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, the solution in the coming time is that the province will speed up the progress of preparing and submitting to the Prime Minister for approval the Project to adjust the overall master plan of Da Lat city and its vicinity until 2045, in which the contents, options, and planning indicators of Prenn Lake Tourist Area are determined, as a basis for establishing a zoning plan after the Project to adjust the master plan of Da Lat city and its vicinity until 2045 is available, and to deploy investment attraction and select investors according to regulations.
