[Video] Hanging lake collecting water from cliff - a drop of hope

NDO - In many mountainous areas in the North, people depend on rainwater and stream water, carrying cans of water over the mountains for daily use. From this reality, a group of Vietnamese scientists have come up with a solution of hanging lakes to store water on the cliffs - a small but valuable project, helping thousands of households have clean water for daily use.

Considered a cost-effective solution, suitable for the harsh conditions of the rocky mountains, contributing to stabilizing life, developing sustainable agriculture and protecting the livelihoods of ethnic minorities; the hanging lake technology for collecting water from the cliff has received the Tran Dai Nghia award - one of the noble awards, demonstrating the worthy recognition for the spirit of silent dedication of the team of scientists, who have overcome many challenges to create value for the development of the country.

For the people of the highlands, every drop of water is now a miracle, and the hanging lake is a symbol of the connection between science and life, between wisdom and compassion.
