[Video] High School Graduation Exam 2025: A pivotal milestone, shaping the future of national education

The 2025 high school graduation exam ended with the mark of an important "pivotal year", organized for the first time simultaneously for two general education programs 2006 and 2018, demonstrating a strong shift in the roadmap for comprehensive innovation in education and training.

This is the first time that candidates under the 2018 General Education Program officially compete with candidates under the 2006 General Education Program, creating a meaningful "pivotal year", affirming the strong determination of the education and training sector to transform.

Nationwide, there are 1,137,183 candidates taking the exam under the new program (2018) and 24,951 candidates taking the exam under the old program (2006).

The notable highlight of this year's exam is the optional exam structure, which is considered suitable for students' abilities while still ensuring high differentiation.
