According to Wu Wa, the drone operator who filmed the footage, this fleet of Tesla electric cars is about to arrive in Europe, and they will leave port on January 8, 2024.
The local Chinese market has been a significant contributor to Tesla’s success, in line with CEO Elon Musk’s ambitious goals. In December 2023 alone, more than 60,000 Teslas found new owners in China. This is a remarkable feat that puts the American automaker on track to reach its sales target of 1.8 million units in 2023. The upcoming release of official 2023 figures will shed light on whether Tesla has actually achieved this impressive milestone.
Speaking of the important role of the Giga Shanghai factory, this is Tesla's largest car factory, a symbol of China's openness to foreign carmakers.
