[Video] From January 1, 2026, digital products created by AI must have identification marks

The Law on Digital Technology Industry has just been passed by the 15th National Assembly at its 9th Session, consisting of 6 chapters and 51 articles, including a separate chapter regulating artificial intelligence (AI). The law will officially take effect from January 1, 2026.

Under Article 44, artificial intelligence systems that interact directly with humans are required to clearly notify users that they are interacting with an AI system, unless the user is already clearly aware of that fact.

In particular, digital technology products in the List of Digital Technology Products Created by Artificial Intelligence must have clear identification marks so that both humans and machines can recognize them. The Minister of Science and Technology is assigned the responsibility of issuing this list and organizing the inspection of the implementation of the above regulations.
