Vietnam has 4 high-end restaurants among the best in Asia

Three restaurants in Hanoi and one in Ho Chi Minh City have been named among the 25 best fine-dining restaurants in Asia based on traveler reviews on Tripadvisor.

Located on the seventh floor of La Sinfonía del Rey Hotel & Spa in central Hanoi, The Rhythms restaurant ranked seventh on the list. The list is part of the Travelers' Choice 2024 "Best of the Best" awards announced earlier in October. The restaurant's menu features traditional Vietnamese dishes from across the country, with signature dishes such as Northwest grilled chicken, spring rolls and fried bananas with ice cream. Cloud Nine restaurant on the ninth floor of La Siesta Premium Hotel on Hang Be Street, Hanoi, ranked 15th. The restaurant seats 80 guests and offers outdoor seating with views of Hoan Kiem Lake. The restaurant's menu features iconic Vietnamese dishes from the northern, central and southern regions, such as pho bo thom, grilled beef and bun cha. John Anthony Cantonese Grill & Dimsum inside the JW Marriott Hotel in Hanoi ranked 17th. The restaurant specializes in authentic Cantonese cuisine, including dim sum, charcoal-grilled meats and seafood dishes, with its most famous dish being Peking duck, which is prepared in a stone oven.

The only representative from Ho Chi Minh City is Reflections restaurant, ranked 8th on the list. Located on the third floor of the Caravelle Saigon Hotel on Lam Son Square, the restaurant offers views of the Saigon Opera House, with wagyu steak being one of its highlights. This year, Akira Back from Thailand was voted the best restaurant in Asia, followed by Ise Sueyoshi from Japan. The top 25 restaurants were determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024.
