"We bow our heads in gratitude to the heroes who fell for the independence and freedom of our Fatherland. The blood of our brothers and sisters has stained our motherland red, continuing the story of peace for future generations," the Chạm Thanh fanpage wrote.
This is one of the platforms connecting deaf and hard-of-hearing people with hearing people through sign language, founded by a group of final-year studentsfrom FPT University.

Le Hoc Kien, representing Cham Thanh, shared with Tuoi Tre Online that Cham Thanh had been developing the idea for the music video since the end of May and began filming in mid-June, finishing in mid-July.
When developing the project, the young people hoped to break down communication barriers between the deaf and hard-of-hearing community and the hearing community. To overcome these barriers, they believed that communication and the spread of sign language were necessary to connect people. During this process, the idea for the music video "Continuing the Story of Peace" was born.
Kien said, "By bringing together people who belong to or are interested in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community from many provinces and cities in Vietnam and abroad to express themselves through sign language, the MV is a celebration of peace, and also a vibrant song that shows understanding and connection across all barriers."
The music video features 20 deaf and hard-of-hearing children from the Thuy An Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities, the Cham Thanh group, international students, teachers, relatives of deaf people, and young people studying sign language.
"The music video was created by empathetic hearts who stand alongside the deaf community across the country, and was directly produced by deaf people themselves. Words are unnecessary, but every hand gesture and glance conveys profound gratitude and a desire to spread peace through the language of the heart," a representative of the group stated.
Composer Nguyen Van Chung said that today he saw many versions of "Continuing the Story of Peace" being covered/performed on various stages and programs.
"This music video in sign language is one of the special things that makes me very happy and proud because my creation has reached all levels of society," he said. "In some way, the children have been able to express the lyrics and rhythm of the song correctly."

Nguyen Van Chung's greatest pride
Nguyen Van Chung told Tuoi Tre Online that initially, when writing "Continuing the Story of Peace ," he only wanted to challenge himself in a different subject matter after his songs about love, family, and children…
"Compared to songs on other themes, songs about patriotism are harder to spread, so I didn't have high hopes. I only hoped that if a singer liked the song, they would bring it to stages with a political or propaganda purpose to educate about history, and I would be happy," he said, adding, "I didn't expect the song to be so widely disseminated."

Nguyen Van Chung believes that "perhaps the song awakened and touched the patriotic hearts and national pride of all Vietnamese people, which is why it spread so widely."
The musician added that, to date , "Continuing the Story of Peace" has garnered approximately 6 billion views. This data was compiled by the distribution unit from platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and short clips on Reel/Story.
"However, views aren't the greatest value. What makes me most proud, arguably in my career as a musician, is having written a song that touches the hearts of audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and professions—from factory workers and doctors to officials and soldiers—they all sing and love it."
